Randy Zempel was raised Lutheran in Northern Minnesota and was saved at the age of 25. He sat under the late Pastor Leonard A. Radtke and later in 1985 under his current pastor Dennis Rokser at the Duluth Bible Church. Randy was born with a speech impediment until he was cured at age 12 and later graduated in 1978 from Brown Institute entering the radio and television industry as a professional broadcaster, and later started his own company called The Clay Corporation in 1984 to the present.
He was involved with producing The Grace Gospel Broadcast in 1991-1995 and later The Grace Gospel Hour on PACT TV to the present. He entered the Grace Institute of Biblical Studies in 1998-2004 receiving his Masters of Applied Biblical Studies degree from Grace Biblical Seminary. Randy has been in the same local church for the past 36 years serving in virtually all aspects of Christian ministries including pulpit supply, hospitals/nursing homes, corrections ministries, church planting, fair evangelism, Bible conferences speaker, missions to El Salvador, India, Mexico, Africa, and other parts of the country and in the present writer and broadcaster of Grace Moment on Grace Global Radio.
Randy has never held an official church position or title but has been likened unto Tychicus who Paul said; was a beloved brother, and a faithful minister and fellowservant in the Lord. Randy is married to his loving wife Gail for the past 38 years and they reside in Duluth, MN, and they have two grown children Lynzie and Zachary.
